'nother day...'nother dollar, as they say. work was boring, as usual, but what the hell else is new? at least it's money, right? i have an interview on monday with yet another temp agency, but it's not until 12pm, so at least i get to sleep in, right?
lance got the second job he was hoping for, so now all i have to do is get a permanent job and then we can get a cat!!! YAY!!!! he said that those two conditions had to be met before we got a kitten, so half is done, but i've been looking for a permanent job since i moved on august 4th!
oh well, such is life, right?
i put up the red cross pic (to the left, silly), and it links to amazon.coms donation to red cross site. i can't donate cause i'm really broke, and i can't donate blood cause i'm almost too skinny and the nurses never manage to acctually find my veins...i think the blood they do get is just my body leaking some to them so they will stop stabbing through my veins.
what can i say? today was beautiful out, and it was crisp like autumn, which is my favorite season, and i had a really nice lunch with the lovely day and reading my book, which is always nice. so that was good.
my sister moved to kansas yesterday, and i didn't even really get a chance to see her before she left. i mean, i saw her last weekend, but that was at a family gathering, and that just wasn't the same. i sort of miss her, but i don't know, i guess it just hasn't sunk in yet, we never got a chance to hang out with each other more than once or twice a month, so i guess i'm just not realizing that she has moved. what can i say?
i'm in a good mood, for a change, so that is definitely a nice change, and all seems to be good...i wonder how long this moment can last?
oh, and i finally have a diaryring with over 100 people in it!!! YAY!!!
