ok, so i know what you're thinking- she's gonna make another 'grumpy before work post' this morning and you're probably sick and tired of these... me too! so i called in sick today! YAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!
i wasn't going to, but i fell asleep on the couch and promptly slept another hour, so i have the days (although not many more now!) i'm gonna use them!
i was thinking of things i could do today, including taking my car in for service, but then i thought- why do i want to waste a perfectly good hooky day? i'm going to take a bath and read a lot, maybe knit and watch chick flicks... if i still had cable i'd watch murder she wrote on a&e, but i don't anymore. i kind of want to get new glasses, but that's probably going to cost a lot of money, so maybe not today.
i'm just amazed at the energy i have right now, simply because i get to decide how to use the day, any way i want. maybe i won't do anything productive at all, just lounge around on the couch and try to get my cats to let me pet them. i don't know, but i'm going to enjoy it!
