Knitty Rocks!

well, wonderfalls is cancelled.

i had to know that it was coming. i mean, come on, FOX keeping an intelligent, funny show? goodness knows that if they wouldn't have given it such a crappy timeslot it would have stood a chance. after only 4 episodes, too, just like The Embassy (also on FOX, do we see a trend?). everything i grow attached to as a consumer is cancelled. but still, i should have seen it coming. after they changed it from fridays to thursdays, i relaxed, thought maybe they'd give it a chance. but no. aired one episode on thursday and cancelled it the following sunday. 13 episodes are finished, but the other 9 will not see the light of day unless another network decides to pick up the series or a dvd is released (my consolation, i suppose).

i cried when i'd read the news- i'm not ashamed to say. i'd grown attached to these characters and their blossoming storylines and they are cut short by a network that would rather support it's dumb shows (ie reality tv) than the smart ones. even the praise of countless critics could not save the show- so i ask you this:

aren't tv networks supposed to air what we want them to, instead of them telling us what to watch?
